Who knows mate.
Just seems like today has turned the positivity into negativity with no new news.
I think he will be here by next week but that's just a hunch, no info whatsoever.
Then who knows.....
The "positivity" was just a delusion in reality, we got battered by a bottom half team last week and we've lost fairly comfortably to the worst team in the league this week. That's the reality, all this hype around Defoe, Keane etc is just us working ourselves up getting excited.

I agree. Sadly the calibre of player we have and the mindset they possess, I don’t think they will ever be comfortable playing in front of the size of crowds we can/could/should pull like today. Rabbit and headlights spring to mind.

These players are playing in league one for a reason and crowds the size of today are an anomaly at this level and I truly believe that the players we have and have had the last few years are completely out of their depth playing in front of a crowd that size and with big club expectations
i think this is absolutely key to the issue..

That's at odds with our home form compared to our away form over the season, mind.

They all just seem to think turning up guaranteeds a win and throw the towel the second something doesn't go the way they wanted it to.

Which is why I keep saying our recruitment policy is absolutely wrong.

We should be financially going for it and getting more championship experienced players in and not kids who have had 1 senior appearance.

The experience balance in the team every week is now way off where it should be. Sending kids in to do a man's job.
