Sort of my take aswell. Except I think their is a team. We’re just not selecting it. Players let down by management.

I honestly didn’t see a lack of effort or commitment today. Just a collection of players with no direction
Totally right. Problem is I’m not convinced at all that we can put out a team that is good enough. We don’t have good enough defenders or a decent keeper. Getting O’Nien back, fit and in form for the play offs if we make them is our best hope

Its my first game back in a few years, the time wasting, the shit away fan banter, the rubbish going blowing around the pitch, the shite performance can honestly say it will be a few years until the next one
Aye the litter on the pitch was an unwelcome throwback to old times.

You can’t just keep blaming the players. Or are we just constantly signing players with a shit attitude? If so that’s a recruitment issue.
But it can’t be that. Our problems stem from abysmal leadership throughout the club.

That’s not a team out there. It’s just 11 signings. Kids from premier league academies, older lads who’s careers have gone wrong, our own academy kids who have a good game in 5 at best. And Lyndon fcking Gooch.

These two German lads - what’s that all about? Some sort of strange punt. Nowhere near suitable for what we need now. The keeper looks like he entered a competition to win a professional contract. Has he played any professional football before?

We are a rabble. Total chaos and confusion to the point we can’t even play a simple pass. It’s not a lack of effort, it’s just a complete mess. I feel quite sorry for the players.
Jesus wept at no point did I say it was entirely the players fault... I said you can't say they've done nothing wrong when they've shipped 8 goals in two matches to awful opponents

I’m the same. First home game for several years. Just rang the wife and told her that I wouldn’t be coming back for several more. There was not a single part of the experience today that was fun.

Doncaster will feel like all their birthdays and Christmases have come at once!
They must’ve expected a right hammering.
They know , like every other team in the league by now, that a ball straight down the middle will kill us every time...... We're slow, out of position, and clueless. If they want to change it around, just put a ball high into our box from the wings.....,......pure panic ensues. We're easy meat.

I didn't see the game, I'm on holiday. But Keane would have lifted the players. Instead they were flat, again.

Kevin Ball would have been a better choice of interim manager.
Ex player told me ballys barely involved these days mate in any capacity whatsoever

A problem that arises because Evans is immobile and Neil is always in the attacking half. + our fullbacks push so far up.
All of those things cannot happen together. It wouldn’t take much to correct. Times we were getting done numerically over the top. Never once saw our club captain Evans screaming at Neil to sit.

Utterly depressing! LJ has coached this into them, and one poster claimed after 30 minutes that the shit show proved that LJ wasn’t the problem! LJ has some incredibly loyal clapping seals, I’ll give him that.

Every week is a new low. Humiliated at home by bottom of the table Doncaster and sleepwalking our way out of the playoffs.

That said, well done Doncaster. God help our new gaffer.

Just come on here after the match so don't know folks thoughts, but I was absolutely floored to see that coaching staff pretty much pick the same side that got humiliated 6 nowt...
I can't fathom why you would do something like that.

f***ing awful.

I think we can even with slight adjustments . We continually set up with no regard to defending. Even a slightly more defensive team would be fine. We have the attacking talent to do that

Exactly. Donny did what they came to do. They weren't intimidated by the crowd , or the Defoe hype, did their job, and used our own crowd against us. Can't knock them, fair do's. I actually hope they survive, just wish it wasn't at our expense.

This team has literally given up!!!
Once again..we are rudderless..trying to drive through quicksand..clueless..Christ...does anyone believe(if) Keane could get a tune out of these????...jesus..Pep would struggle with this shower of vomit!!!
Had my ST for 37 years now!!
My patience is really starting to be tested now!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Well said 👏👏👏 I think the same.

Spineless (no centre mid). No guts either, so spineless in the metaphorical sense as well.

Surprised if Keane wants in after that, but the only chance of promotion is inspiring a bit of effort. Just don’t think even Keane can inspire the amount needed.

38,000. I wouldn't be surprised if thats the biggest crowd Doncaster have won a normal league match in front of since the 49,000 gate at Anfield when they won a Div 2 match there in 1956

I honestly don’t think it’ll sway Keane one way or the other, he’ll be looking at the bigger picture.
My gut feeling is that he’s already signed anyway, but that’s all it is - a feeling.

Same here. They may not have the best players in the world, but they made the best of what they have and showed guts. They didn’t need to resort to shithousery, either.

Likewise. Various circumstances prevent me from going more.
What I saw today was a group of leaderless brittle kids doing their best against typically earnest and physical L1 opponents.
If these are the type of players recruited by Speakman then Roy Keane must demand more or full say on player signings before agreeing to any contract here.
That might go against the club’s current “football philosophy“ but by god it’s the only way SAFC will scramble out of this division.
So in my mind it’s either Speakman’s way or Keane’s way - not both.
