I'm not excited about McCann but he got a team out of this division that were trying to get out of, recently.

Given everyone's argument for Keane is he got us out of one 15 years ago, feels a bit like moving the goalposts not to count McCanns promotion as being something in his favour
He got the club he was already at (relegated) then promoted at the first attempt. Pretty much the same, settled squad of players that played in the championship the previous season. A very different challenge to the one the new manager would face here.

We need somebody who you can guarantee won’t be phased or overawed by the weight of expectation. Is that man Grant McCann? Not for me? Keane on the other hand will relish it. If this was the grand National Roy has the course and distance next to his name. He’s just been off the track for a little while!

Carlsberg dint dee perfect weekends but if they did ( oh and 6 nowt with Defoe scoring off the bench in front of 37000 for a league 1match after being humped 6 nowt away with Meteke man of the match )
