It’s just different fancy terminology. The notion that a ‘high press’ is something new and introduced by foreign coaches like Ragnick is insulting to most of the great teams of the past.

The great Liverpool teams of the 70s and 80s and Man United in the 90s were absolutely relentless. Even Sunderland under Reid were doing it. It was called closing down without the ball back then. Now it’s ‘gegenpress’

If you think that Keane can not do a very demanding trade for a decade, pick it up in very different circumstances and a different culture and professional era to when he started 15 years ago, without the advantage of money and transfer windows to help, and just pick it up as he goes, you're entitled to do so.

He's got a better chance than someone whose never done it. Which you've just suggested isn't the case.
