I would absolutely piss myself laughing if they appoint Neil Lennon. It would absolutely crush the trust the fans have in this ownership off just that alone.

Grant McCann starting to sound like a f***ing fantastic option

I'd start by looking at someone who has had success in this decade.
Understand the concerns raised and not belittling them but I’m struggling for other names who don’t also come with a level of risk equal to that of Keane

What sort of success are we talking about over the last decade? League 1 promotion , any promotion, cup success (at what level)

God no what an anti climax - KLD is pushing for Keano so they say over the road
If Keane is our first choice then by default anyone else would be anti climatic wouldn’t they?

You’d have to go after a ranieri etc. after and then you could argue why not go there now. 😉

Yeah, he did brilliantly and I'll always love him for that. But if some other manager had a similar record and then had been out of work for as long, would anyone ever consider them for this job?
Football doesn’t work like that though mate. He’s also been in around the game, he was assistant for the Irish national team for 5 years
