It doesn’t matter which manager they choose there will be people who don’t want him. But with Parkinson and Johnson most people never wanted them. The poll and threads on here shows that plenty of people do want Keane
Yeah. Asking large groups of random people always leads to the best decision making.

What criteria did you apply when choosing? I gave greatest weight to most luxurious beard and best smell.

I think it’s the wrong appointment

Did brilliantly last time, but I think the game has moved on. And I don’t think he has the man management skills to be successful over a sustained period of time.

I absolutely hope I’m wrong.

It's league one football. A manager just needs to keep the play simple and be able to motivate players if they're on a five game winning run or a five game losing streak.

Keane until the end of the season is a fantastic appointment for us. I wouldn't give him a contract for longer than that at this stage in the season.

We need a manager until the end of the season only. Then we can reassess things when we know where we are division wise and other candidates become available as clubs change manager

As an outsider if you were to appoint Keane, a huge amount of peoples eyebrows would shoot upwards, including mine.

I know you guys like him and there's sentiment, but it'd be absolutely Batshit and wouldn't work imo
I do get where you're coming from, however the impact he had on a struggling squad last time was immense.

I'd be happy to roll the dice and go again with him.

  1. Roys first day at the AOL might go like this.
  2. Right you lot... some of you need to loose weight some of you need to put it on.
  3. Big team scrum needed before the start of each match. Team bond
  4. Any heads dropping if we concede and you`ll be off.
  5. No pally chats with opposition players you know from before.
  6. Respect your captain no matter what.
  7. When you run onto the pitch you can either Bollox the day or Make day of over 100,000 people.
  8. Get promoted and well have the biggest party sunderland has seen for years.
  9. Now go out there...... and "Do it for Sunderland"

Aye but that was last time. When he was near enough fresh from playing.

He's done nothing bar sit in a TV box playing a character for years now. Even at L1 I can't see him being up to it
