Personally I think it looks a decent window for them. Wood massively over priced though
the Brazilian i know nowt about, trippier is a canny signing, wood and burn are lower half premiership players, is it going to be enough to get the points on the board as they have a hard 2nd half of the season, if they are buying burn to play centre half with lacells that partnership is a accident waiting to happen, taggert is another who is ok but wont pull up any trees

Burn and Targett are improvements imo. They've had a canny window. Obviously I hope it goes spectacularly wrong

i agree taggert over dummett our ritchie, but burn as a centre half is how can i out it nicely, not very good, at left back he seemed like a canny player but they cannot be signing him for that spot if there after gerry taggert

I reckon that Watford, Burnley and Norwich are so poor they would have stayed up in any case. There was a time when they were looking to be locked to the bottom but those around didn't take advantage. These new signings of course improve them and for the few decent fans out there enjoy transfer deadline day. But whilst I hope it goes tits up and they go down, of the signings Wood/Burn/Taggett aren't top half players.

We haven't signed those players to be top half though, we've signed them to get us out of the relegation places. These players will be replaced if we stay up. I know there's rivalry so Sunderland fans says these players aren't that good, but we have been diabolical this season, everyone of those players improves our team in the positions we need, bar Wood. Estimated £100m for 6 players is good business imo.

This for me as well

Why have you posted just to agree with me? Why would you be on here on your most exciting deadline day ever?

I'm buzzing they think Dan Burn will sort their defense. He's doing well alongside an exceptional Webster he isn't going to suddenly lead a defense.

He's very much a centre half partner rather than leader. The mags needed a leader to sort their defense. They haven't signed one.

Targett - second choice left back at Villa
Burn - only just become a regular at Brighton
Bruno - unknown, can’t get a game behind Fred
Trippier - decent, but 31 years old
Wood - 25m

Hardly setting the world alight are they?

If money wasn’t an issue, why are they signing average shite?
