To be fair I don't think man city or psg just go a send the money in one postal order and most clubs seem to want installments in over a number of years. This whole song is based on assumption s from social media. Nobody knows who they are In for or not. Same as other clubs

As one of the more reasonable mags on here, these sort of loons must make you absolutely cringe? I know every fanbase has its share of idiots, but the Newcastle ones seem more vocal and prominent (case in point being the sheer volume of idiots coming on here pretending to be Sunderland fans - Johnna, Blue Monday, Kilbane, Mackemmichael, and now this fool).

Personally, I put it down to the kind of Newcastle fan who gained prominence in the media from the Keegan era onwards - Beefy, Wraith, True Geordie etc, all loud, obnoxious and considerably more uber than thou. Some of them have even translated their partisan rabble rousing to professional grifts in the media, the likes of Kennedy and Hopeless. Wallies like Adam Peyasson the Youchooba and tommoftm are now all trying to out-uber each other, resulting in ridiculous claims like the one you replied to.
 
Charlie Austin isn’t quite the full shilling. I remember his having a massive rant about an goal that was given as offside. He was demanding VAR be installed, criticising the officials and all sorts.

When I saw it on Match of the Day, he was about 2 yards offside.
