Everton team from the 80s were excellent they would of won more in Europe if their neighbours hadn't got everyone banned.

So far they’ve appointed Howe as manager. He first came into the frame because Jamie Redknapp is a mate of Jamie Reuben, and Harry Redknapp told them that Howe was great based on his knowledge of him through the Bournemouth connections.

The first signing is Trippier, who used to play for Howe at Burnley.

Second signing is Wood, also from Burnley, after Trippier’s agent told them about the release clause.

And now theyre back to asking Trippier if there’s anyone else in his phone book they might be able to sign, cos there’s only 12 days left and they can’t seem to get anyone!

Shame they couldn’t get a director of football or chief executive sorted out, and Emery fucked off their whole clown car operation - that’s what’s gonna relegate them.

Might be 1995, not sure, but I do recall they turned up on Westgate Road outside the old Trafalgar bar and caused mayhem before a game. Biggest ‘mob’ I had, or have, seen at Newcastle.
I work now with a LFC fan and he always says “I don’t know why but Everton are always underestimated”.
I have been to Goodison Park, probably a dozen times, and never had anything other than a warm welcome. Funny how when you turn up, say hello, and just talk football you get no hassle!!!!
