Sensible players/agents will want to see some semblance of being able to survive before committing, and those who don't will want ridiculous compensation in terms of wages/bonuses to do so.
It's a gamble that could pay off, but if not, they're going to end up with 1) players leaving for relative pennies on relegation clauses IF they do go or 2) players in the Championship on bizarre money.
