Could've spent less than £25 mill on a hungry, young striker from the Championship; most of the clubs down there are in a financial situation where they would've bitten our hand off and whoever we'd sign would bust a gut at their chance to play in the Premier League.

But no, we get some donkey wrong side of 30 who is so good, he's managed to be in the top league for about four years without anyone really noticing him at all, and we get him as his meagre talents are on the wane.

Why? Because he's played in the Premier League innit. Hit the ground running innit.

Oh really, Dennis for Watford, Cornet for Burnley and Toney for Brentford have never played in the league before and they've scored more this season than, ooh let me see... ...Wood.

Bravo fucknuts.
Should have bought Mitrovic😂😄😁👍

I hadn't realised just how badly Everton are doing - I thought Norwich's win was an upset at the start of a revival, but it was almost a six-pointer. Still, £37M to date hasn't improved things for the mags*.

*unless you count a point at home to Watford as improvement as I'm sure many will be trying to spin it in Beheddie's favour. 1 shot on target!

Burnley v Watford (Tuesday night)
Watford v Norwich (Friday night)
Everton v Villa (sat early KO)

Next 3 premiership games. Mags could be feasibly be 10 adrift off Leeds & Everton and 8 off Watford and safety by the time they play Leeds on Saturday

Yesterday they could have lined up a front 6 of: Wood (£25m), Almiron (£20m), Saint Maximin (£20m), Joelinton (£40m), Willock £25m), Shelvey (£12m)

In his wisdom Howe preferred Fraser and Longstaff to Willock and Almiron, but he could have fielded a front 6 that cost more than £140m. Yet its Ashley's fault for neglecting the side? Surely at some point its got to be Howe's fault that he could only get that lot to manage 1 shot on target?

Howe's also got a load of defenders with Premier League experience but can't get them organised to stop goals to save their lives. Is that Ashley's fault as well?

See was rumours about Gerrard going for Suarez.

Be funny if they get Suarez and Couthinio:lol:
This.

Utter idiocy to not even try and get him.

Said this to the Mags at work (Aye, I know) last week. I said that a loan fee would be a lot less than £30m for Wood.

They need to be in for Costa. If he ends up at Spurs or Arsenal you have to question the strategy for players at SJP.

This is the most worrying thing for a Mag, IMO.

It was Watford, not Man City

While I obviously hope your forecast comes true it underlines why we need to get promoted this season.
Haway if anyone from the club reads this get us promoted get your money spent.

I'm going for 6 adrift of Watford before Leeds beat them on Saturday.
