Don't be daft. He's our only decent player man. He gets no help.

He wasn't watching then.
Think in a decent side he would be good.
Serious question at this time of night -will he play in the championship or will he leave -not sure how long his contract is

That story about the consultant they brought in being given the bullet after a couple of weeks is bonkers mind.

They've apparently tried to sign Wood under Rafa and Bruce and were knocked back by said managers each time.

I disagree about Saint-Maximim though. He is a really good player. Probably their only hope of survival to be honest.

Saint-maximum doesn't suit wood at all. He barely crosses and when we does it's woeful. His strengths are the opposit of what gets the best out of Wood.

I'll be surprised if he doesn't leave this month.

Trippier and Fraser are pretty good crossers mind. ASM is best when making chances around the box.

Can't see him staying tbh.....and I don't see this squad bouncing back easily.
It’s seriously tough when you go down ( we know better than any one else )
I know you have loads of money and went back up last time under Ashley ( no pressure) but now being the richest club in the world -can you even imagine how “ up for it “ hard nosed championship players will be for your scalp?
Won’t be easy in a cold Tuesday night at …take your pick

Yeah, I agree, although if they can get Trippier in crossing positions it should help.

The signing of Wood is just desperate really. Purely signing a striker, literally any striker, just for the sake of it.

If Bruce had signed him, they would have gone absolutely ballistic.

Will he also miss games in March for New Zealand's WC qualifying?

From what I just saw on MoTD today, they need Wood to be holding the ball up for ASM to run onto. Not having their best player trying to service their new £25m donkey with crosses, which as you say are not his strong suit.
