LEGO builds for Adults

You sometimes see them in shops etc, they just don't look anywhere near as good as giant figures made of LEGO.

I knew I should have clarified my earlier comment
Ah right. Aye, Playmobil's crap.

Someone mentioned a set of Playmobil Ghosbusters to 'fit' the Lego Ecto-1 though... could be tempted.

Lego Imperial Probe Droid looks tempting @ £50...

The bairn has a good collection of star wars lego now. Got a little battle scene set up on top of his drawers. No doubt in a couple of years they'll end up in the copious amounts of other sets. Spents 000's over the years

Pics then!

I'm an extremely lucky chap as we managed to secure this...

It's now retired but we managed to get it via John Lewis at the Trafford Centre. I'm being good and not touching it until my birthday.
Can. Not. Wait.
I've had my eye on it for years but couldn't justify it, then they bloody went and retired it and I was kicking myself that I'd missed my chance.
Ive got one with power functions not built it but apparently a bugger to move

Thanks to other builds, I have a couple of Batmobile's that look like the 1989 one so I held off getting the big one. The Batwing is pretty cool, but you'd need the mount for it. Having it sat flat just won't look right.

The new Minifigure collection comes out soon. Wheelchair athlete and a bunch of other decent looking ones.
It does have a mount mind.

I think I might get it. She'll gan biserk.

Bit of a sad story really, but my friend's brother died last year. He had the massive Star Destroyer, so naturally my friend now has that and is going to have to work out where on earth to put it when it's built
Looks awesome like. Was looking at it this morning - noticed there's a pair of skis on the back of the bridge.

Absolutely spenktastic.

Just think how magical you could make your dungeon look with all those lovely bricks.
That said, with nee windows the likelihood you'll stand on some bits and cripple yourself is pretty high.

I look forward to seeing it in person. He might have finished it by 2023!

The light's pretty good, I just point all my lamps at my Rolex and it's like being in laser show.

Anyone seen the Titanic yet. It's on display in Edinburgh shop window. Holy moly it's absuluteely mental.
Aesthetically it looks class. Tempted, but it looks like some of it’ll be a boring build with lots of the same blocks.

Built the Empire State Building during lockdown and I got quite bored with the cladding/windows.

Completed the build of the Home Alone house over advent and Christmas. It was a brilliant model to build. Loads of great details.
