He already has an invite for cocktails in the city centre followed by a three course meal in The Jacksons prior to a future home game-this will be cooked for him by a leading Michelin Star Chef.

After the match a luxury private plane flight has been arranged for him to holiday at the Saudi embassy in Istanbul as a thank you for his excellent, impartial coverage of Sunderland AFC, the North East club with the most league title wins, record NE crowd holders and who were formed first and played friendly matches at the beginning of the 1900’s against Newcastle so that they didn’t go under (what were we thinking of?)…

Well they're that desperate to impress that they've photoshopped at least 4 fans onto the image in the tweet below saying "Up for the Cup!".

There's 3 of them waving scarves (bottom left one just looks ridiculous 🤣 ) and one top left looking passionate with right arm up in air. Aye that's Wraith's protege but it's the bloke to the right who has been photoshopped in and she also has the original image as her Tw@tter picture

The meer mention of wraith's name gives me the creeps..something not right with this man...definitely a wrong'un.

Not sure the club would want to ban a journalist (no matter how poor or how much they seem to be a mag arse kisser) but can definitely mention it and make sure they're aware that we consider some of the press (and him in particular) to be doing an incredibly substandard job of being impartial, and of actually covering the club

From what I can see there is absolutely no coverage whatsoever from him towards our club, he's an 100% mag arse kisser.

I think it’s a little more than “seems to be” and I’d argue he’s not doing any kind of job unless it’s the one he’s doing for NUFC. but thank you.

Maybe just point out that David Jones and Tom White (both known Sunderland fans) both go out of their way to be impartial to the point of getting too far on the other side. When's the last time Downie did a news report (not a match for SSN) on any NE club other than the Mags?

I think it would make sense to ban him and bring in local one in place.

We get fuck all off them anyway if anything it may highlight it.

No skin of our nose either way.

Christ - it seems I talk sense afterall! I've been saying that since the beginning.

Well said Hayden! His contract expires in June '26 and reputedly earns 41k pw (lots of places say different amounts) and is due £8,7m regardless of whether he plays or not.
