Dubravka was 'supposedly' hurt in the goal build up. Earlier I wondered if he got his hand on top of the ball like Schmeichel did against Villa and the Villa goal was disallowed? I don't think he did but the video isn't clear enough so will MOTD pick up on it?
Well MOTD was a canny watch but they didn't look at this but it is close. There's 3 frames to focus on and you can see how Dubravka's hand is just above the ball in 1 frame. In the next it's on top of the ball and the ball flattens slightly. The frame after that the ball moves away from Dubravka.

Aston Villa had a goal ruled out by VAR as Schmechiel got his hand on the top of the ball as the rule is that the keeper is in control of the ball if he has either both hands on the ball or 1 hand on ball between the ground. If the Cambridge player didn't kick the ball then Dubravka wouldn't have spilled the ball or owt, he'd just simply pick it up.

Bear in mind this is a shit quality gif and not VAR quality. Also bear in mind the perspective angle is a bit misleading also as the Cambridge player's foot looks closer to the ball. All this analysis is simply for all the lurking Mags so it can sicken your pisser a bit more that VAR probably didn't look close enough at it as the FA conspired to get you out of the FA CUP anarl as well as doing their best to you relegated so far this season

Pure conspiracy.

Tbf they assessed it for about 5 minutes. I think they're right. We just weren't good enough. Anybody blaming VAR is ignoring how bad the rest of the performance was. Some good spells but it should never have came to hinge on something like that. Bad defending before the incident in your gif and after the gif before the goal went in. I thought it said VAR was checking for an offside rather than the dubravka incident. Maybe both. Either way didn't deserve it. Anybody saying otherwise is blind
