Is the term "salty" a Mag thing or do other people say it in general? I've seen a few comments from Mags across various social media platforms calling people "salty" (bitter?) for daring to take the piss out of their new ownership, Trippier, etc.

It's just regurgitated social media shite. It's not just a Mag thing, seen it loads when people comment about Liverpool, City etc. There's very little original witty comments now, far easier just to post an overused meme.
