He’s a good player and improves them, no doubt about it. But feels like they have improved a position that would have been well down the list of what needs replacing ( for me anyway). Also now a quarter of the way through the window and no further forward on stuff they really need. Had months to get a move on really and they just don’t seem to have got stuff lined up apart from this and that still took a week.

I still can’t work out if they are gonna toss big money at it or not. Let’s be honest the price they have paid is pretty run of the mill for the premier league. Kind of feels like it was the biggest name they could get so they did.

Agree, I thought they'd have a few more lined up and ready to sign as soon as the window opened.

They've been in similar positions a couple of times under Ashley - when they were in the relegation zone in 2012ish, they signed Debuchy. His wages will have been a fraction of Trippier's, but he was a french international and younger - arguably a similar profile. They also got Sissoko and a couple of other players who mustn't have been so good. They also had a better squad and a better manager than they have at the moment, and stayed up relatively comfortably, even with the fans hurling abuse at them all the way through.

Then the other time they were in trouble was when we sent them down. They got Townsend, Shelvey, and some other players I can't remember. They had a much better squad that time as well, although you'd probably put McClaren was a similar level to Howe. That time it wasn't enough.

Huge 3 weeks for them - there's still a lot to do for them to surpass what Ashley would have done in the same position, and no guarantee that it will be enough imo.

Itll be enough as long as Watford keep Ranieri.

I wonder if anyone has ever seen her face before?

Never made it past her chest

Just clicked on her profie and saw this link -

Where she has a link to gift her money via paypal, cash app and simply paying her. For what exactly? What is the world coming to when someone would rather give a girl money basically cos she has big norks rather than give to the homeless or charity. That is fecked up.
