NUFC Sportswashing 2022

if the mags had any sort of transfer plan, they'd have signed Nathan Patterson instead of Trippier. Trippier is 30 year old and is costing the same as Patterson who is genuine quality which is ridiculous tbh.

Patterson will go for 30 or 40m and that's the sort of forward planning I didn't want to see at the mags.

Some serious denial going on in this thread mind. Is it going to be like this every time they sign someone until it falls apart a few years down the line

When we were on the Prem how many times did we sign players the top teams no longer wanted?

How many worked out?

If he can’t be arsed at Arsenal, why would he be arsed at Isis F.C?
I don't think he'd go to NUFC but they may well tempt others. That's because NUFC could offer something stupid like a £5m bonus at any new signing if NUFC stay up. So say 5 'decent' players would be a measly £25m in total along with say £1m each for rest of squad as another little incentive so £50m bonus total to stay up.

That £50m is probably only half of what NUFC would lose in revenue if relegated and that's not including how it would fuck up the 'project' dramatically with at least 1 season in the Championship. In the short term NUFC may well overpay players to come but they will desperately want to stay up this season and long term a few million wasted here and there on a few players will be fuck all long term.

What they could do and what they will do are two different things though?
