South Africa v India test series

Interesting rule.

As the 'catch' was the last ball before lunch the umpires can take it back to the fielding captain and ask him to withdraw the appeal, but they cannot overturn the decision themselves.

But they've decided it's not conclusive.

Dodgy.

Pant claims two catches which didn't carry. First one was umpires review and overturned, second one the batsman believed him and walked.

Saffer collapse from 88/1 to 102/4 just before the lunch break, but should only be three down.

Not like the Indians to be cheating c*nts like is it?

Saffer pundits are furious. As too is Mark Nicholas. Unsurprisingly Gavaskar is playing the ‘inconclusive’ card.

To avoid a difficult situation probably. It’s one of the most conclusive non-catches you’ll see.

Looks conclusive to me, and I think you're spot on. They've umpires have ducked the issue.

Someones had a word with the studio as well as they gone from furious - cut to 10 minutes film about the 2013 test - and now they're saying you can't be 100% sure. Some turnaround in such a short time with the same pictures to look at.

Interesting rule though.

I think clearly the BCCI have told the umpires what the correct decision was.

Regarding the commentators, Nicholas was still pushing the issue during his last stint mind. As was the presenter post documentary

Brain dead from Jansen there. Saffers could’ve made 250 if he’d batted sensibly. Olivier can hold a bat, Ngidi absolutely can’t.

Am I being harsh? Or is that the most ridiculous 7-fer in Test Cricket? Absolutely burgled most of them wickets. I’m not saying he bowled badly, but I only remember two at the most being from good bowling 🤷‍♂️

Jansen on and gets the breakthrough straight away
Looks a talent, can see him taking lots of wickets in his career.

There's a certain pleasing irony about India moaning at that decision going against them
Not sure who it is but the Indian on commentary said it was exactly the same as Pant’s dismissal earlier
Rabada doing his best to lose this game for South Africa
