NUFC Sportswashing 2022

Poor Rafa.
Forced out of a club and into a £6m job he failed at.
Then given a chance at Everton, where he failed, but it was someone elses fault.

Thats the problem with Newcastle fans. They back themselves so far into a corner, that the only way out is a Trump style "deny everything baldrick" approach.
Rafa did a less than mediocre job at Newcastle. But they hyped him up so much. they hyped up his "project" that any failure could not possibly be his. He was then moved on, to a job in China on a good payday. But they'd hyped him up so much, they couldn't possibly criticise him for moving for money, so "Ashley forced him out" became the mantra.

Now he's gone to Everton and they cant possibly acccept that after all the hype hes failed a THIRD time to live up to the image they created for him. But rather than accept he's not the manager they built him up to be/is a dinosaur..... its easier to yet again blame someone else.

Its cult idol worship at its worst
They are that far down the rabbit hole they are oblivious to all that mate.
Cutting through all the talk about NUFC ownership, do any legal bods on here think that it’ll be ultimately possible that it could be proved that they are owned by a State, ie Saudi Arabia?

Staveley and her partner and Jamie Reuben are clearly ‘fronts’ for an immoral regime and an unethical takeover which stinks to high heaven.

Are they here to stay or could they be sent packing?
I’ve no doubt it could be proven. The PL own lawyers knew there wasn’t separation. Its the Will to actually do it that’s lacking.
What happens if they get relegated and the EFL ask for proof that they are not owned by the state?
I know I sound like a broken record here, but can you see Parry taking any meaningful action? Mr Big picture himself?

Bring it on.

In this case they are interchangeable mate 👍🏻

You’re right about this lad, and the professor. But there is something they can do. Either stop going, or go and campaign as they did against the evil monstrous tyrannical Ashley.
True true but in general they make some others ( banned or not banned) look like total sportswashed kernts.

Did I say look like.

The Saudis will do their equivalent of "Scouts honour" and Boris will tell them its "legally binding".

Or more accurately, the EFL will love having them and the attention they'll bring and not bat an eyelid
I know but I mentioned this to a mag mate of mine in a pub in Wallsend the other day - he’s one of the decent tiny minority. He said ‘you’re only saying that because your a Mackem.’ I said ‘ yes but it’s just planted a little seed in your head”. He said ‘ it has - bastard”.
Decent price tbf if true. it'll be the ridiculous wages.

Man U will be in for him at that price.

I think the plan is to get the fans on side thereby removing the risk of fan protest and revolt which will have reduced the value of the club, quickly increase revenue by replacing all Sports Direct branding. That should increase value of club by 150- 200 million fairly quickly for a quick onwards sale. Problem the have is a possible relegation and can’t afford to invest massively if the finances are to work. should they get relegated then spend 50-70 to get them back and still make 100 m profit.
Highly unlikely. It’s a sportswashing exercise, not an investment.

EFL knocked a bloke back cos he once played bugger the cat in the 70s and another who once egged a bus , but the order of murder and disposal of body is fine.

Serious note. PIF hoy state money into ventures as we know. Well , Masters doesn't.

He knows. 100% same as everyone else does. He’s just too scared or greedy or both to bother his arse doing anything about it.
Bowel movement hopefully
Aye. Liquid.

Surely if the team is utterly shit and getting pumped left right and centre then the sports washing exercise will fail? Or is owning an English club enough do you think?

After watching Wan Bissaka yesterday, Donald Love would be an upgrade.
