Attacking wise we're a different team/squad.
Defensive wise were struggling but we have a never say die approach and the emergence of Joelinton in a position he is extremely effective in as well as an overall perk up in the squad with changes and players seeming much fitter eager, playing as a team bodes massively well for me.
The fact we had a lot of biog teams who had a lot of fortune go their way...we gave them all a game and were very unlucky is a few of those games.

I'm massively buoyed by the upturn in players and that's down to Howe and staff.
The season looks a lot better to me.
You’ve played Norwich and Brentford at home, you failed to beat both. Leicester had many players out yet humped you 4-0. Played the worst Man Utd team in a generation and didn’t win.

Deep water my arse.
We have no right to beat anyone but I've seen more than enough for massive encouragement in Howe's short time here and many Newcastle fans would agree, I think.
I don't expect Sunderland fans to agree in the main, obviously.
Seriously ,progress is improving on your league position ,not how many shots you have at goal FFS ,either way your ferked !!!!!
Let's see at the end of the season.

"Attacking wise we're a different team"

Before Eddie - 12 goals in 11 games.
With Eddie - 7 goals in 8 games.

The progress is keeping the PL so 'on-side' that they haven't had to play games pre-window that other clubs would have been forced to play.
Bet the game against Watford goes ahead though ,cheating dirty bassas
