i think for AOB the problem has been getting picked ahead of others we'd rather see. i'll be glad to see the back of him but he's tried, it's just not worked out for him. i just don't want to see him playinng
 
Oh well, no big loss I don't think. But hopefully we have someone lined up as we can't afford to just be letting bodies leave without replacing them.

It's hilarious the rewriting of his time here. He's been as bad a signing as any we've made all things considered and the work rate stuff is nonsense too barring the odd rare exception. All for the princely sum of almost 400k a year in wages if Bob is correct.

The sooner he takes his cult hero status elsewhere the better.

This mate, and all this bullshit about him being a grafter and always giving 100%. I've witnessed him in games physically hiding as to not get the ball and strolling around like he couldn't care less.

Agree.
I've never seen him win a 50/50 or even a 60/40 (in his favour), I have seen him pull out of tackles. Yes he did score an hatrick at Blackpool and yes it was a good finish at Gillingham but what are his other positive contributions over the last 18 month. It's not hate he's just a very very poor footballer.

I know it’s a forum and we all have our own opinions, but I struggle with the mentality of fans who slag off a player for not being ( in their opinion ) good enough. By all means throw the book at player like Jack Rodwell who didn’t show any effort at all for the club despite being paid a kings ransom. Now Aidan O,brien is a league 1 player who it has to be said has flattered to deceive part from the odd game here and there and his hat trick earlier in the season. The one thing you can’t fault the lad with is effort. He has put the graft in the games but ability has lacked. Shown a bit more class people.

It was a signing typical of that era.

I can’t believe people are actually saying he’s done alright for us. He’s been a shocker of a signing really.
