Sky pay the PL 4.5 billion to show their “product” The PL passed the takeover as soon as the piracy issue was settled. It’s not a stretch when you consider it, to believe it’s in their own interest to suck the Saudis off by proxy using the mags to do so. Mr righteous Neville has been hiding from the subject as have his colleagues. I almost puked listening to jones last night.

He used to be class but he done his knee a couple of years ago and has kept breaking down ever since. IIRC he duffed surgery that would have seen him out long term, missing the World Cup and ruined it by playing on. It's gone now and they've been desperate to move him because he can rarely play, and when he has done he's been poor, and he's sat on 250k p/w.

When he's spending most of his time injured I can't see why he would want to move for a lower wage.

Long may it continue. Isis ran themselves into the ground and were at the top of their game at home to a shite Man U. They have very little football knowledge and their owners are notoriously careful with investing money. Hopefully all the smoke being blown up their arses will result in them believing they have the resources available to stay up.

Mags trying to get their away game at Everton off shortly after Beheaddie was crying about teams above them having games in hand and latterly losing their two best players through injury in the Man United match.

It’s quite clear that some clubs are using Covid as a tactical excuse. It makes the league unfair and farcical.
The clubs that have Covid issues are too thick to ensure that all their staff from the tea woman downwards to the playing and coaching staff are all double vaccinated and boosted. If they’re not and games get postponed they should be penalised as some clubs are now deciding to take the piss.
