What a great show that was tonight. The few seconds of Stay Another Day on piano over slowed down visuals was beautiful, and then Bob playing Paul's Mum singing was another level. Lovely.

I’ve just got Bob’s autobiography for Christmas. Really looking forward to his story.

But I’m currently reading Turing’s book about Enigma.

probably the best programme on the telly at christmas for years. so funny at times and even the parts that are quite sad are quite uplifting in showing the bond and thoughtfulness between two mates.

iirc in the last series he gave bob his father's old fishing rod.
