Fan at the end with johnson

We are talking about seconds after a solid attacking half from the lads, it wasn't anywhere near "shite" , fans on here sounding like mags FFS.

It was Oxford, it was League 1, we managed a solid attacking second half and eeked out a draw?

Even Colin Murray on Quest said social media has created this type of fan who think they are entitled to abuse people with no comeback. Its no different to those Pompey fans who were outraged that Lee Cattermole had a go over that matey kicking O’Nien whilst he was on the deck. “Oh you cant say anything to us”

Unfortunately for Johnson or any manager reacting like that is not a good look. TBH I don't think he did anything wrong but he'll come out the worst for it. It was a brain fart by Johnson but not outrageous

I can understand the fans reactions too. But to make a big deal out of it is ridiculous. He lost his head and so did Johnson. No need to cry about it.

I really like him but Colin Murray is talking nonsense. Football supporters have chucked verbals at players, officials and managers forever. The bloke yesterday didn’t scream social media generation like.

It’s a passionate game that stokes feelings. The bloke was angry with Johnson and shouted at him, Johnson was angry with officials and shouted at them, Bailey Wright was angry with Taylor and pushed him in the face.

It’s a bit of a lazy conclusion from Murray that one.

Correct .

If the refs stuck his fingers up at Brent Everytime he gives them a bit needle then the ref would be dragged over the coals.

I think you have to acknowledge that we are still getting almost record breaking attendances and we are in our 4th season in League One. We are again scratching about 5th and 6th and you can see how this season will play out. A lot of fans, like myself, have been going for decades and so we can see patterns and we can see manager's who just don't have it. The perspective is that we as a club and a team are badly under-performing - I'm not sure what you are calling for. Should the fans not aspire to immediate promotion. Considering we have a manager who's teams appear toi have choked for the past 4 seasons I am pleasantly surprised that the fans have been supportive pretty consistently. This team and this manager do not look or feel like a promotion side - I've been through many promotions with this club from Stokoe, Knighton, Reid, McCarthy, Keane and I just don't see Lee Johnson as a man who will lead us up. I hope I'm wrong and have not once called for his head but I objectively have very little faith in him. When objectively looking at his record as a manager I am not sure how anyone can have much faith in him.
Good post marra

A fair few of em are on this thread , how the **** does @TravellingMackem come to the opinion that "the football was disgraceful "
Second half was arguably our best display of the season , great effort, some excellent passing moves, crosses from Gooch and Embo, only the woodwork stopped us winning.
As for the other post above from @Yellerish , do we really need to be throwing insults like that at our manager , especially after some moron decided to give him stick seconds after a great second half display?
Absolute zombies some of our fans at times.
I have absolutely no idea what game you were watching mind but it wasn’t the same one as me
