Shame not enough people turned on LJ yesterday. That football was disgraceful from our club and the SOL is a better place without LJ in the dugout either.
The football wasn't disgraceful. Below par in the first half and much improved in the second and unlucky not to score a couple. Our keeper had to make one save second half. What was disgraceful was the booing at the end.

If a manager is going to react everytime the fans have a go at him then I think he needs to find another profession.
If a fan dishing out abuse to a manager can't take a little back then he needs to stop dishing it out
I can say with confidence that If I was our manager there is no way I’d be giving the fans the v’s just because some bloke said “do us all a favour and walk away mate “

He’s in for a lot more stick when we are at the business end of the season and he continues to give points away left right and centre.Let’s hope he learns how to handle it and puts his im wiser than thou persona in his interviews into practice.
Yeah because I'm sure that's all he said with no swearing involved what so ever !!

We didn't play too badly yesterday, lack of quality maybe, but wasn't the game for loads of fans to be kicking off imho
Stupid little twat doesn't exactly conduct himself very well.
How exactly do you work that out then? I'm not his biggest fan but curious how you've come to that conclusion?

Just seen the footage of the two finger salute. Not even sure if it was the v's but it really was something of nothing. That this is even a story is a bit pathetic. There was a piece on the ALS page saying that LJ/the Club should issue an immediate apology or LJ should go. Fortunately all the comments are suggesting that the writer is being a tad silly. Its a non-story and people who dish out abuse have to accept what comes back.

In any other walk of entertainment (from a band in pub to the opera) if you are serve up shite - you've got to expect some stick.
If you are paying £20/30/40 a ticket plus travel costs and stuck on a sweaty, overcrowded COVID laden train for a couple of hours and then have to endure whats been served up I think you've got every right to complain.
Performance wasn't that bad yesterday, very unlucky given the second half chances. This overreaction is more just wanting him removed as manager whatever.

We’ve got some absolute f***ing melts among our support mind:lol:
A fair few of em are on this thread , how the **** does @TravellingMackem come to the opinion that "the football was disgraceful "
Second half was arguably our best display of the season , great effort, some excellent passing moves, crosses from Gooch and Embo, only the woodwork stopped us winning.
As for the other post above from @Yellerish , do we really need to be throwing insults like that at our manager , especially after some moron decided to give him stick seconds after a great second half display?
Absolute zombies some of our fans at times.

This is why I’m worried about the club over and above the vagaries of whether Lee Johnson is a good manager or not. A significant proportion of the fanbase have completely lost their heads. The atmosphere is febrile and there’s a serious problem with hair triggers right now. I understand why it’s come about - we’re in League one for a fourth season - but we need to have a word with ourselves tbh. We’ve got to find some perspective or we actually WILL start making it harder for the club to progress on the pitch (fans fault klaxon).

We are talking about seconds after a solid attacking half from the lads, it wasn't anywhere near "shite" , fans on here sounding like mags FFS.

Rubbish. Andy decent manager/head coach worth their salt would have this lot in the top two most if not all season! Johnson is the big problem!

I think you have to acknowledge that we are still getting almost record breaking attendances and we are in our 4th season in League One. We are again scratching about 5th and 6th and you can see how this season will play out. A lot of fans, like myself, have been going for decades and so we can see patterns and we can see manager's who just don't have it. The perspective is that we as a club and a team are badly under-performing - I'm not sure what you are calling for. Should the fans not aspire to immediate promotion. Considering we have a manager who's teams appear toi have choked for the past 4 seasons I am pleasantly surprised that the fans have been supportive pretty consistently. This team and this manager do not look or feel like a promotion side - I've been through many promotions with this club from Stokoe, Knighton, Reid, McCarthy, Keane and I just don't see Lee Johnson as a man who will lead us up. I hope I'm wrong and have not once called for his head but I objectively have very little faith in him. When objectively looking at his record as a manager I am not sure how anyone can have much faith in him.
