Forget the money for a moment. In his position would you want to join a club in serious danger of relegation. Iirc he’s 29 and could easily go to a club higher up the league with aspirations of improving, Villa and Spurs come to mind

I suppose they might have won last night with 11 men and Norwich are also on new manager bounce ....

Lot of pressure on "dole queue" Eddie to integrate January big money signings quickly , something he's never managed to do before
 
I don't see 3 teams in the PL worse than NUFC; given that they are now 6pts (effectively 7pts with GD) adrift of safety.
It'll be interesting to see where they are this time next month.
I'd be amazed if they aren't further adrift.

I doubt they would sell to a relegation rival and potentially improve them.
A mid-table team maybe, but not NUFC in its current position.
Unless they offer north of £50mln :cool:

Whilst that may have been true before the KSA owned the club. I dont think thats any longer the case. No one outside Newcastle gave a shite then. But they do now. For all the wrong reasons.
