It just seems like for so many people, if it’s not happening in their living room it doesn’t matter. If this continues, one day it will and it’ll be too late to do anything about it if it isn’t already.
When did winning a game of footy matter more than someone’s life? When did that happen?

It's never should, but in a world that happily closes its eyes to kids being blown up in proxy wars, because its our countries tacit support and our munitions doing the damage.
People in the country would rather riot of a statue of a former slaver than help stop a kid oversee for being killed or maimed.

...and what we're dealing with here is the power of brand association to achieve a political objective. Brand geordie has been cultivated by the mean since 1992. Its not the most premium brand but it'll do for now.
This brand carries a set of expectations, memories, stories and relationships that resonates here and elsewhere...the Saudi probably see that as highly western and culturally central in the minds of many football fans in the UK and beyond.

The situation is pretty fucked up, and our long stand rivalry with the mags just took as bizzare segway into us versus a totalitarian kid killing regime.
The mags willingly selling thier souls is just reinforcing many preconceptions

Brian Clough was manager of Sunderland youth team after he retired he was sacked when they realised he was not a yes men. When I was paper boy at Porters used to deliver his paper “Daily Mirror”
He coached the youth team and was offered the chance to manage Hartlepool and took it. Good deflection again mind

Howe and Clough shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath  And you’re still choosing to miss that lads point anyway… not a surprise

If Howe had arrived under Ashley and started with a 3-3 draw to Brentford you’d have had the bedsheets out

Where have all the dumb fuck sympathisers gone. Have they been told to stay off the smb for now as although we all know there are as dumb as a box of hammers they need to stop making it so obvious.

Would imagine the Brentford choice is quite simply London v North East to live which GA is making. Always will be difficult to attract top players here , which we are used to but they are not. Gonna get a nasty shock they are, though there will be the odd extremely greedy mercenaries.
