Lee Johnson - potential replacements

Teams only need to have a 10 minute spell and they score against us. Weak as fuck. Just look at their goal. A long throw and we had umpteen chances to clear but panicked and couldn't get it away.
We seem to think we can defend well if we have everybody back and just pack out the box. Seems to be no emphasis on stopping crosses ,man marking, closing down space etc. Concentration seems to go out of the window and panic sets in.Sunday morning league players would get shot with shit for turning out our recent levels of performances.

Probably true. But in our current league teams like Wigan and Plymouth are doing better than us and surely nee fucka wants to live in those places!
Plymouth will nivver amount to owt because it’s too far away from anywhere. Any player of any standard leaves ASAP. The extra travel and their Mrs being so far away from their families wears em all down. At their permanent level it’s coach travel and lots n lots of it.
Sunderland players don’t live in Suddick marra, Wigan players don’t live in Wiggick*

*Made up place name.
Mick Harford anyone?
Have a look on The Guardians football page. His current prostate cancer battle is one of its main stories. Fingers crossed for the lad.
Based on his performance as a centre forward for us absolutely not. Does seem to have been decent coaching at Luton though.
As above

Can LJ buck his ideas up though? Isn’t that exactly why he suffers these slumps of bad runs at each club? After 450 games as Manager you would have thought he would have learnt from it but then it just keeps happening.
He even said himself that all it takes is a wonder strike and a goal can come from nowhere. So why did he invite it?
A manager clearly with his limitations.
If he cut the slumps out he would probably be managing in the top flight by now
We also have players who clearly have limitations so results will be far from consistent
at this level you need a good squad of players to manage or your pissing against the wind

I love the new model, truly I do. However…

You need to get a coach who can at least organise a defence.

I’d hire Pulis if it means we went up this season

I just want a manager that thinks the way to play the game out when winning 1-0 is to go out there and score 4, not try to defend the lead, 'cos a ball will always end up bouncing around the edge of the box and one of theirs might hit the sweet spot (exactly what happened on Tuesday) and we've lost points because of shithousery and 9 behind the ball (against 10!).
I don't know what LJ says to them at half-time, but they always seem to come out groggy after the break.
We do not have a single leader on the pitch, so that 'leadership group' thing needs scrapping because it just lets players look elsewhere rather than grasping the nettle. Leading by example BTW, not pointing and shouting: KIng Charlie wasn't the Captain, but he led his men like a General.
Unless KLD has got something up his sleeve I think LJ will stay, but he needs to buck his ideas up.
I've said this before Steve Cooper
Notts Forest
Billy Bulshiter just been on going to flatten some waves tomorrow ???

Because he is shifting blame more and more onto fans ! Expectations, social media, banking a win on Tuesday !!
Slippery slope

No one in their right minds would accept fans are to blame for the team playing bad, however I do think they can contribute to the team playing well……as paradoxical as that sounds.
The manager will ultimately carry the responsibility if they fail but at this time there’s more chance of success with continuity

So the fans aren’t backing them enough to play well ? His continuity is making us regress as a team you want that just going on ?

He’ll be gone before Christmas thankfully. Unfortunately we’re making the same mistake we’ve made every single season.

Don’t sack them immediately after failing to get us up. Give them till Christmas. They’re inevitably shite, we appoint someone else who blames the last manager. Rinse and repeat. We’re in this league for the long haul chaps.

Hopefully he doesn't get December
