Lee Johnson - potential replacements

I would have him like. I think he would come back as well...
At least we liked him when he was doing alright with us, we only turned on him when it all went to shit after that disastrous transfer window where we replaced Henderson, Zenden, Gyan and Malbranque with Gardner, Vaughan, Wickham and Elmo. The Mags hounded him out from the start because he wasn’t “wor Rafa”.

He might see our fans in a new light after his most recent job.

I wouldn’t want him back like, although I’d much rather him than another Parky or Grayson.

I'd have anyone who could get us promoted this season including Bruce.
I wish Henderson and Gyan had stayed a bit longer like, even just for one more season.

Losing both Bent and Gyan within about 8 months of each other was probably his downfall as much as that poor window was TBF. Both out of his hands as well if his side of the story is to be believed.

I would have thought most people would want to leave the place tbh
2hrs and your home max from 90% of away games in full time English pro football for starters. Anyone who thinks the extra hour after hour spent on coaches doesn’t get on players and managers tits is very naive.
Plus they’re a better team and don’t sack the manager every 20 mins.
Weather?

SAFC haven’t been an attractive proposition to anyone on the up for a long long time. If they’ve flopped at their last job, are unemployed, merely desperate or thinking about their payoff before they’re returning our call then this is the place for them.

Whatever happens in the next 10 minutes at Shrewsbury, my mind is 100% made up. He’s got to go. The question is who would we get or could we get?
Go and get Alex Neil while he is still available, lives near me in Longridge near Preston, I can go and have a word.

Show some ambition and go for Lampard. Doubt he'd take it, but suppose it depends how much he wants back into it.
There is absolutely no chance! Not just aimed at your post, but people need to get real in terms of who we are actually going to attract at this level.

5 minutes into the derby match and Elmo is torturing Newcastle and one tackle later we seemed to implode. The Stoke Game as well is strong in the mind as a car crash.. The man seemed to be prone to the odd horror show, as nobody minds losing a tight game but really do not like cave ins.

I did mention his deputy Steve Agnew the other day as a left field appointment and someone whose not yet had the top job and at least gets the north east.

He’s 56 and has been caretaker 3 times - won 1 out of 11 in his longest spell (at Boro in 2017)

I’d want a young coach who was on the up, not someone in his late 50s who has spent the last 5 years following Steve Bruce around.

Big problem with a lot asking for Johnson to be sacked. Completely unrealistic expectations of who might come in, in my opinion.

I've seen Allardyce, Critchley, Robins, Farke, Lampard. All no chance I reckon. I doubt Manning or Lowe would leave a stable job for us either.

We have made a rod for own back with becoming a sacking club.
