I’m not on Twitter so all I see from him is what’s been linked on here. He’s impressive mind. He’s been like a terrier with a rat throughout this. One of a few relative to the size of the issue. Fair play to the man.

Go ahead and try by all means. I have, along with several others on here and we’ve all received the same generic nonsense dodging the issue. And that’s from tories and Labour.

He writes for the Guardian's Fiver and is on their football weekly podcast.

Don't think he's a MLF but more has a typical southern Irish soft spot for SAFC.

It's never stopped him from having a playful dig at us, but there's a definite element of vitriol between him and the mags.

The Fiver has daft names for most of the major clubs, and from memory it was Glendinning who came up with the name Jongleurs FC for the mags.

Looking at the bigger picture, the mags and their owners are likely to be able to tough this one out.

Global arms sales will surely continue to rise as key execs and former execs take places in US government.

The ability of BAE to influence decisions made by UK Gov is not going to abate and every region of the UK has some company reliant on their deep pockets.

The PR disaster that is the Yemeni crisis will be seen by more and more UK citizens in the run upto Christmas as the charities and NGOs flood our TV screens with images of carnage and despair, but with Houthi militants aligned with Iran there will be a bit of spin.

War is hell and that hasn't changed in millennia but the profits of Western companies and the value of our pensions is expected to rise not fall.

The Ruben's will know all about the financial markets and will have performed a risk analysis on their investment. Staveley is part of the Saudi family. The Saudi royals just want good PR.

Whether they get it or not is down to the ordinary people and depends on their ability to resist any influence but unfortunately, even though many deplore the massacre in Yemen (me included), its not going to stop any time soon.

Ah, right. He's never shied away from having a pop at us, particularly when we've deserved it so I always assumed more of a soft spot fan.

I should have guessed mind, because his vitriol for the mags is very real.

He is MLF mate. Not enormous but quite a bit more than soft spot. He and Rushden been very vocal against it, the only 2 on talk shite radio in truth.

I emailed her during the initial botched takeover attempt asking her not to sign the petition, and like you got fobbed off with a stock response. If she comes canvassing though I'll tell her exactly why she's lost my vote.

Get yersel on marra. You only have to read the subjects you’re interested in. It’s like finding a big magazine at WH Smith’s at the airport that only has articles about stuff you love. Football, other sports, music, fillums, fly fishing, F1, fry ups, pets wearing hats, mag baiting etc. Owt you wants on there.
It’s a news n entertainment source basically. Use it to suit yourself and you’ll not see any of the shite that some on there use it for. I find the majority of its critics know nowt about it or are easily led weak minded simpletons.

It’s ideal for slinging shit at the mags anarl.
