It's just sick. Their pride group has now left the wider pride network, who are still urging the rest of their members to continue action whenever their team faces Newcastle to highlight the cause of a gay lad who took his top off in Saudi and was imprisoned, and just ahead of the rainbow laces season...

...because they can't be bothered to do something positive or make a statement for the community?

Why did they bother setting up at all?
Maybe when they set up, they didn’t think they’d actually have to stand up and fight for what they believed in.
They had a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a massive statement for equality and inclusivity but they didn’t have the guts.
Money trumps morals again if you’re a mag.

It amazes me how the same people can stand outside shops, shouting and protesting about its owners but turn a blind eye to the horrific Saudi regime.
It amazes me how Sky and their “pundits” can promote rainbow laces, and say nothing about the ownership of NUFC and the way they treat gay people. It amazes me how they get all milly tant about the ESL yet put on a circus for the mags game against Spurs.
Could it be that the ESL threatened their revenue stream and this doesn’t.
It amazes me how the same people can stand outside shops, shouting and protesting about its owners but turn a blind eye to the horrific Saudi regime.
The Saudis have more money

I'm just waiting for the investment in South Shields, you know with the takeover benefiting 'the whole of the North East'...that doesn't seem to get mentioned now it's gone through.
I'll certainly be asking my MP about it when she comes knocking for my vote considering she put her name to that pathetic petition against the wishes of roughly half her constituents as well as the town's Yemeni contingent.

Holt and Glendenning probably will. Carragher and Neville not a chance. They will continue to advertise their hypocrisy to all and sundry.
Both commentators I actually really liked, both gone down in my estimation. I am a rare fan of sky too, but that is out the window, complete hypocrites.

Loads of good quoted tweets on that, it is disgusting and loads are piling on and rightly so.
Absolutely outrageous this like . What message does it send to the wider community ?
When their seems to be a concerted effort by everyone to be more inclusive , you have a group who are more concerned about a game of football than their own community.
I’m struggling to think of a bigger betrayal .

1Paris St-Germain and France forward Kylian Mbappe, 22, is tipped to leave when his contract expires in the summer, with Newcastle United among the clubs who could make a move for the World Cup winner.

Honestly, who writes this. 🤣🤣🤣
Geordie le Mag the well known European sports journo.
Leave them to it mate. The bigger the expectation the bigger the comedown when they buy wilf grimsdale from the Humberside and district catholic river wideners FC for 80 million plus pies.

Loads if speshul relationships for us here now everyone hates the mags. No ethnic minorities involved unfortunately after another one of ours arrested for racism the other night
