Lee Johnson - potential replacements

For the next few games at least mate
I reckon he’s got three or four games. Not sure if getting shot would actually be the right decision but the last few matches have been fairly shambolic and the inexplicable tinkering with game style, formation and personnel that was evident when things went wrong last season is back and I can’t see KLD letting it drag on.

Because you’re in League One?
True but thats all part of the challenge…..Lee Johnson could have had the Derby job in the Championship but chose us instead. I firmly believe we are still an attractive proposition for the likes of Alex Neil, Neils Adkins and Warnock, and indeed any out of work manager who has recently managed in the Championship as that is a place we should be minimum

Whatever happens in the next 10 minutes at Shrewsbury, my mind is 100% made up. He’s got to go. The question is who would we get or could we get?
With all due respect mate and sorry to break this to you.

You are just a fan and you don't get to decide when a manager leaves or who the new one should be.

I still think we jumped the gun sacking Jack Ross, he was learning the role and with time he would have got better, but we never allow that time for him (or anybody else) to grow. If he had never been here and we sacked Johnson tomorrow, I gaurantee loads of people would be suggesting Jack Ross as our new manager.

Players can be motivated to show heart and desire though if they are inspired by the manager and / or coach..
So professional pride doesn't come into it?

Like I said get shot of LJ as I'm on the fence about him but if the players aren't willing to take responsibility on the pitch there is nothing a manager can do.

Teams that get promoted will have 7 or 8 players who constantly score 7 or 8 out of 10 every match not through skill necessarily but pride desire passion and belief traits our squad lack.

Burge, Flannagan, Wright, Hume, o'Nien, Gooch, McGeady these players have been at the club for at least 1 full season some since we have been in this league and all have failed to get us promotion

I disagree if players arent taking responsibility on the pitch it is the managers fault. He works with them every day, he sets the culture. While McGeady is on a downward spiral now and cant be relied on moving forward I think the rest of those players can play an important part in a promotion squad with a good manager.

Can’t believe anyone would mention Terry. It’s the 21st century. The known stuff about him that’s out there should be enough to strike him off every clubs list nivver mind the rumoured stuff or stuff that’s known but not generally on the internet. Why do these posters think he’s not in the game atm? Why do they think other players with similar experience are walking into jobs atm?
Weve had PDC we can’t afford another total idiot here.

We don't give anybody time
