Lee Johnson - potential replacements

Things aren't going well recently, but to say we can wave goodbye to any chance of promotion, whilst being 5 points off top with a game in hand, is a gross exaggeration.

Nobody is happy with the results in the last 6 games or so. From here we may pick up form and be fine, or we may struggle on and finish 5th-8th.

Neither you nor I know how that will turn out. To say we've waved bye bye to any chance of promotion is beyond ridiculous.
We waved goodbye to promotion last season when we should of comfortably went up with our games in hand but didn’t and exactly the sames happening here, there’s no evidence to say we’ll do anything but and that’s no ridiculous.

Just can't see a replacement happening other than maybe a sideways shift to allow a newcomer to takeover first team affairs. As said elsewhere its a long term KLD project this and the only thing that might really shake the place up is if the home crowd really turn against LJ big time.

So? 🤷‍♂️

Had Barnsley promoted from this shit league with ease. Playing nice football.
He was rubbish at Hearts as well - they may have been unlucky to be relegated because of COVID but he had them badly underperforming and they shouldn’t have been at risk of relegation.

I’m of the impression that he and Barnsley were just a good fit at the time and he won’t have that success again.

If we’d appointed him when we sacked Ross I probably would have been delighted, but in hindsight I don’t think he would have got us promoted.

I'd expect the club would have some obscure manager from Europe lined up in fairness. I'm not a fan of dismissing managers without a decent replacement lined up but that was terrible last night and LJ def on thin ice with majority of fans.

Keane
Terry
Farke
BSA
Poyet
Lowe

Anyone but this absolute chancer, I have tried to back him and like him but it’s impossible.
The shite he spews on a weekly basis is unbearable!

Michael Beale, Coach At Rangers.
Stuart Lewis, Coach At Spurs Youth.
Darren O'Dea, Coach At Celtic Youth.
Domenico Tedesco, probably out of our league but still on a free.
Roman Tseryuta, Manager of Krasnodar Youth.

We should move heaven and earth to persuade Bruce if his door is ajar. A bumper bonus for promotion and option for extension if he fancies it in the Championship.
the last thing bruce needs now is money.

i like your thinking on this..but presumably beale has gone to Villa with gerrard?

They were a basket case club.

Dick Advocaat is now available; having just left his job as the national coach of Iraq!

Regardless of what was going on behind the scenes, that squad was far too good to win just 4 of their 30 matches. He failed. He took a team that had finished 4th, 5th, 6th and 6th in the 4 seasons after their last promotion to the bottom of the league.

Don’t come knocking on our door.
Unbelievable job he is doing, the football at times sublime.
Look at the movement.
