It would be funnier if he turned them down
I actually think he would ...regardless of their status or his own position....I dont think he enjoyed himself up there for a number of reasons ....thats my own opinion and i think he placated them half the time cos he really had no other option

7 points from safety, as it stands . If they stop up they'll have to have an unbelievable run of form
In EPL history no team has recovered from being bottom after 12 games has overcome a 7 point gap. Everton (94-95) and Blackburn (96-97) overcame a 6 point gap but no one has over come a 7 point gap.....history in the making if Leeds win?

Not one of us would be complaining if a rich business man from Saudi had bought them out. The fact is though that it wasn't as such, it was the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a Country with a horrendous record of human rights, all in the name of sportswashing !
If the rich gadgy who had nothing to do with the Government had taken over we would have all said, you know what.... you lucky bastards, and maybe with a touch of green envy.
Live with it Mags ! You OWN it now, and enjoy years of trying to justify yourselves to fans of many many teams

Atmosphere was very good yesterday tbf and the gage was enjoyable. We will go down mist if the lads I go to match with agree. But we should go straight back up which would not have happened under Ashley.
and yet you went straight back up under Ashley twice before ?
the atmosphere should have been good yesterday...it was always a game that you were likely to get something out of.....unlike your pervious home game v Chelsea
Didn’t he get yous straight back up twice?
Mag posters on here dont even know their clubs own recent history !
When we had players other teams wanted to but sissoko and debuchy went fir 50 million +
You would get that for both St Max and Wilson
Yes but I don't think he would have thus time and I'd argue benitez and hughton got us up
would you argue Benitez took you down ?

Reasons to be cheerful mags. Lots of money.
Transfer window approaching.
They are playing Norwich soon.
Reasons to not be cheerful. All the bottom clubs picking up points.
No-one being left behind.
They are playing Norwich soon. Must win game. Not literally, but you know what i mean.
No-one to blame. Mike has gone. Can't blame the awabs. Can't blame Howe.

The one thing they've got going for them is potential goal threat.
27 shots and 9 on target means IF they sort the defense out they have a slight chance.

Unfortunately for them with the players they have you can't see them suddenly stopping shipping goals.
By the time the window opens it could be too late, and even if its not Howe is a manager who doesn't work on teams defensively and it needs some bloody good defenders coming in and gelling instantly.

Shipping 3 goals against a team just promoted from the championship at home in a must win game should be setting alarm bells off - I'm surprised more mags aren't talking about this rather than the Joelinton turn?

9 shots on target against similarly poor defensively premiership virgins Brentford though.....who they wont play every week

They are still blaming Ashley and Bwooce

Definitely.

Like I said - a slight chance.

Way more worrying is the "3 goals scored against at home by a team just promoted from the championship" with a new manager bounce, new owners, crowd behind them in a must win game.
I ssem to remember Fat Mike supping pints in the away end at the beginning of his reign at the Mags too ?

He did.

Mags were on here at the time crowing about being bought by a billionaire "who just wanted to have some fun winning trophies and drinking with the fans".
