If you think we would have come back up under MA next season that's your perogative but I respectfully disagree

Very true mate we are down
As many have mentioned previously, you did the other times. I know you've said you sold players to raise funds but surely Saint-Maximin and Wilson would be worth a canny bit this time around as well. I see no reason why Ashley wouldn't have got you back up. One thing he wasn't was stupid. He knew he could make profit and get lots of advertising for his other business, but he also knew you needed to be in the top flight in order for it to happen.

Also don't think all the mags think they're going down. I think it's a bit of a "damage limitation" thing, say you're going down so if you do people can't rip the piss as much because you'll say "I said ages ago we'd go down". The league is shit. You haven't won in a quarter of a season and you're still only 5 points from safety. Plus you've got a new manager who might improve things, and you've got a transfer window where it's likely you'll spend a bit. You won't get any stars at this stage but you don't need to massively improve in order to reel in the shit sides above you. If we were in your position I wouldn't be pessimistic about this season tbh

Off the top of my head, Gregg’s, Bellway, Grainger, Go Ahead group. I would guess there will be quite a few more.
Villa massively improved their revenue. I would guess Leeds have as well but obviously they spent shitloads of time outside PL.

On that basis more than most.

Be funny if Bouncy had still been in charge.

On another note loads of Mags on Twitter saying if Bruce was as good as his media mates said then why isn't he in the running for the Man United job? Without a hint of irony that Howe would never be in the running for that role either yet apparently is their new Messiah.

Bizzare behaviour
How do they know he's not?

If they’re still firmly in the bottom three in January what kind of players would they attract? None with any ambition I suspect. The kind of player they’re expecting wouldn’t touch them with a shitty stick and IF anyone from the premier league fancies blood money or feeding the beast that wants to eat them, the markup in price will be head bursting. The best they may be able to get is overseas mercenaries that don’t give a shite.
Anybody going to them in that situation will fleece them.... and continue to do so in the championship. The killer in this situation is that inter is bought and the mags go down. Then what do PiF do...

In that situation stavely will be under huge pressure as the Arabs don't like 2nd best

They might stick with the mags as they know they will lick their arses. On the other hand mags are mags and will eventually turn on them so it’s anyone’s guess.

I think essentially it's up to you lot whether we see a return of the derby next season. I think we are going to go down, so it's whether you are able to do your bit.
Same crap different season
IF your lot win one it'll be champions league mince again from you ,,,,,,,, AS PER
Do you post on a scum site??

The one thing they've got going for them is potential goal threat.
27 shots and 9 on target means IF they sort the defense out they have a slight chance.

Unfortunately for them with the players they have you can't see them suddenly stopping shipping goals.
By the time the window opens it could be too late, and even if its not Howe is a manager who doesn't work on teams defensively and it needs some bloody good defenders coming in and gelling instantly.

Shipping 3 goals against a team just promoted from the championship at home in a must win game should be setting alarm bells off - I'm surprised more mags aren't talking about this rather than the Joelinton turn?
