The 17.30 from Sunderland to Hexham is already delayed by 15 minutes due to overcrowding. Good luck to anyone trying to get on that in town

I’ve already sent them an email and asked them for a written explanation as to the reasons for them expecting their services to be quiet when over 100k people were attending football matches in the area. I’ve also asked them why they then announced that their services were delayed due to overcrowding due to a football match. I’ve already had 15 rail vouchers from them this season due to their “customer service”.

Also submitted a FOI request for the number of passengers that travelled on their services in the Sunderland area yesterday and the number turned away due to overcrowding.

I travelled on the trains for 30 years & nowt has changed

I received 2 vouchers last time. I didn’t think they’d give them out to me again? Is it worth asking?

people get turned away away from as far as billingham not just the Sunderland area
