Problem with relegation is that it would mean this season is written off from a sportswashing point of view. Even if they bounce back at the 1st attempt the following season is written off as they’d only be competing in the 2nd tier. 1st season back in the Premier, they would struggle to attract top quality until they could prove they could compete in the top half, so that could be another couple of seasons written off.

Would the Saudi’s be happy to hang around for at least another 4-5 seasons before they could attract top quality for their sportswashing or would they just move on and buy the likes of Inter Milan?
Problem with relegation is wanking away 100m on championship players to get them back up on big wages. Ffp is then affected too and they're lumbered with shit on big wages that no one wants.

I can't wait to see what will happen when they don't bring in the superstars they think are coming, still bottom of the league at the start of February and an 8th choice manager, the gravy stained loons will riot, telephone boxes will be smashed, Camels will be punched, the bedsheets will be out, marches on Downing Street disorganised and when in April they are relegated, I can see them spitting on Staveley and her man what's his name?
they have done all of this before, it could get so bad the P.I.F might throw in the towel.

They won't though. They'll live in their little bubble where they're a rich significant club, and they'll massively overhype themselves as always.

They've backed themselves into a corner now. They'll be torn apart if they turn on Saudi and Amanda. Because that's what they wanted

Make no mistake relegation will be a disaster for them and the murdering bastards plan. Not plans as there is only one goal which is to Sportswash their atrocities

Simple as that. I'll piss my knickers when they go down
It would be even more hilarious if they narrowly avoided promotion and spent a couple of seasons at least in the 2nd division.

Any stattos know, this has to be their worst start to any season shirly?
2018 they had 2 points after 9 games

To put into context :)

'There has only been three sides - , , and - that have endured a winless run at the beginning of a campaign of more than 10 games and still gone on and secured safety,"

I long marked Brentford at home as their most winnable fixture yet this season, and said previously in the post that this should be their first win and if not they are truly fucked.

And here we are. Couldn't even win it with a new manager boost.

They are anchored to the bottom of the table, the only side who hasn't won all season, five points adrift with Leeds having a game in hand.

The Saudi Money cannot change the fact they are viewed as a near certainty and that will hurt their window.

Even if they sign several quality players in January, they’ve still got to gel together and get understandings going. Ipswich, albeit at our level, are an example of this. They’ve got quality but haven’t quite clicked yet.

Defensively, Newcastle are all over the place. I can’t see them getting anything at Arsenal next week, which would leave them on 6 points from 13 games. Big ask for them to get another 30 points from 25 games (36 points is usually enough for safety).

Home games against Norwich and Burnley to come in the next few weeks, failure to win at least one of those, and they are in serious trouble. Brentford appeared to be a banker home win today, especially with the new manager effect, but they still couldn’t win that (even if Howe wasnt there because of illness).

January might come too late, we shall see.

Would love it if they went down though, not just because they are the Mags, but the way they went on after the takeover was ridiculous.

There's no such thing as a New Manager boost 🙄...... unless you're Villa or Norwich 🤣
