I don't think it has been forgotten at all.Didn't seem to do that Canadian leader Justin Trudeau much harm though did it.?
But I guess he sits on the left side of the fence, so it's quietly swept under the carpet.

Keep your hair on.And? If something bad happens somewhere else does it mean it's OK to do it here?
If someone you knows has a beravement, do you say "oh well they would have had a shorter life if they lived in India" or some such contrived bollocks?
Where did he say he was offended on behalf of his entire race mate?I get some of that. So okay, someones used an example that Stan Collymore who is black, wasnt personally offended by people blacking up as Bob Marley.
do you feel comfertable telling him he is wrong and needs to be offended on behalf of his fellow race?
Still am. I've watched both teams home and away for 30 years. I will always refer to Hartlepool as "we" and "us". Always have done and always will do.Weren’t you still a Sunderland fan in 2015?
Tbf theres a fair few on this thread that have outed themselves as prime candidates for the ignore list.Said I’ll keep away but fuck it, I’ll bite.
You’re sick of hearing about it, but here you are actively clicking on and posting on a thread about it?
Fuck off, cretin
This. The amount of people on my ignore list has shot right up.If there’s one silver lining tonight, it’s that I’ve been able to block quite a few idiots who are seemingly unable to read, or are that thick and pig headed that they choose to ignore what has been said by numerous people.
Stan collymore wasnt offended by blacking up. But you as a white man were offended on behalf of the BAME community. Odd to me.Where did he say he was offended on behalf of his entire race mate?
Mate I've already told you I can't be offended on behalf of anyone besides myself. Nobody can be offended on behalf of anyone besides themselves.Stan collymore wasnt offended by blacking up. But you as a white man were offended on behalf of the BAME community. Odd to me.
There is that much blatant racism in the world I dont see why people need to froth at the mouth over something an minor or innocent as blacking up (or chalking up) for fancy address, but thats just me.
I’m maybe a bit thick, old fashioned and pragmatic and not as alert to injustice, prejudice and discrimination as many people are these days.
I could dismantle and systematically destroy this post but by bit but haven’t got the time and inclination and this thread is having an impact on my own mental health. It smacks of someone who has taken a quarter interest in the story - being unaware of the background to why Rafiq returned to Yorkshire for example. Yet another example of someone who had little interest in this when all they knew was a person of colour being systematically racially abused on a daily basis by white cricketers, administrators, managers and commentators etc. then had massive interest when person of colour is seen to have sent a couple of unjustifiable racists tweets 10 years ago when he was a teenager. I had decided to give this thread a wide birth but when you see racism and bigotry right in front of you it’s really difficult.
Who are you to call people racist for that particular post , embarrassing. Get off the moral high ground stuff and respect other peoples views.
In that post I have criticised Yorkshire massively.
My point being ballance, hoggard Vaughan Lloyd etc the comments are not right In any way shape of form and are shocking however the Victim in this has displayed similar awful views and should be discussed likewise to the others.
Because people are giving alternative views based on fast that don’t match yours all u can do is go ‘Racist’ sad behaviour
Les Ferdinand who is a vehement anti racist and had done some great work regarding racism definitely wouldn’t have seen the funny side.

Too bloody right, bloody honkysI love the authority with which white liberals speak on behalf of "minorities". "X is offensive to black people but y is OK" - says who?
These people probably hardly know any "minorities". If they did then they'd know that black people, for example, aren't a hive mind. Some would be offended by black face, some wouldn't give a shit. But that doesn't stop the white liberal defining what's racist or not on behalf of people they don't even know.
Good to see all these new cricket fans on the forum. I'm sure they will hang around to lend their opinions on the Ashes.
At least they will distract from my “borderline worrying” views on the West Indies’ bowling attackGood to see all these new cricket fans on the forum. I'm sure they will hang around to lend their opinions on the Ashes.
Same thing happens with homosexuality and discrimination & all sorts. Massive amount of righteous virtue signalling and bandwagon jumping.I love the authority with which white liberals speak on behalf of "minorities". "X is offensive to black people but y is OK" - says who?

And yet we live in a more inclusive world than we did 20 years ago. That’s a good thing.Same thing happens with homosexuality and discrimination & all sorts. Massive amount of righteous virtue signalling and bandwagon jumping.
Progress comes in two stages, very very slowly then very very quickly. With regard to racism, it feels like we're reaching stage two.Same thing happens with homosexuality and discrimination & all sorts. Massive amount of righteous virtue signalling and bandwagon jumping.
