Agreed on the first bit. In bold I’ve tidied for you…
Matter of opinion like. I've met some absolute kernts who support Sunderland, including a bunch of your supporters who gave me grief in a bar in Morecambe after you'd played Preston away. A coachload of them, and they wanted to have a go at me on my own and were very hands on with the lass I was with. Absolute pricks, nowt I could really do on my own, and they knew it. Doesn't alter my opinion that the vast majority of Sunderland supporters are decent folks. For what it's worth I don't go in for all of this hating supporters of other teams (Chelsea excepted) I like the rivalry, but all this 'Scumberland' 'Poocastle/Scum' is just juvenile bullshit. I want to beat you lot in every game we play against you, but afterwards it should be forgotten and get on with our lives like normal people. I love my club, but it doesn't extend to hating yours. Sorry if I've got you wrong here mind.
That Adam Pearson goes home and away. He posted how much he is making from Youtube but his most popular video is a recording of CR7 scoring! Absolutely nuts that you can earn 1k from recording CR7 and sticking it on youtube.
I'm not sure how long he's been going then mate. I stopped going after they sacked Hughton. Before that I went everywhere with Newcastle and never saw or heard of him. I knew most of the regulars like.

I’m the same to be honest, I only come on this thread for the humour of the goings on at the minute. Sunderland definitely has a load of clowns in their ranks, you don’t have to look far on here to find them but the brain washed amongst the supporters of the Geordie nation are of the highest standard of knacker in the land for me.

most of the fans are spot on though.

Here the video I referred to - 300k+ views which is why he made a decent wedge last month.

I've never been away at OT (aside from Millwall in the cup). Seems he is in the home end?

Back home in the North East the majority of my close mates are Sunderland fans. We absolutely rip the piss out of each other. I remember one year one of them couldn't get a ticket for the match at SJP (New Years Day 3-1, Beardsley hat trick) so I got him one with us in the Gallowgate. When Colin West scored that goal to get it back to 2-1 he couldn't help but react. I was a bit worried for our safety, but no bother at all. Mind, we were in the West section, not sure how it might have went down in the corner. That's the kind of crack I like to see. I agree mind, the knackers among our support take some beating (some say they should take a literal beating and I'd not argue with them) I've been in with your lot for some big games too. Palace QF in 76 (still the noisiest crowd I've heard in Britain to this day) and a semi final v Chelsea in 85 (probably the most violence I've seen around a game. The streets round Roker were mental, fighting all over the shop) Back in the day I just loved going to watch a match, nowt better, and if I couldn't get to wherever Newcastle were playing I'd go elsewhere. Sunderland, Darlington, Pools... I even went over to watch Carlisle once or twice.

I was at that NYE game and obviously the Chelsea game! Still cannot belive how many Chelsea coaches were lined up on the coast road.

That's the away corner mate. Been years since I was at OT though. Last time I was there it was still standing and we had the end behind the goal to the right. Been offered tickets since, but always declined. Doesn't appeal to me these days, prefer an afternoon up at Tow Law or wherever. Or at least I did before I came to China. I was a regular at Shenzhen before Covid closed the stadiums and took in a handful of games at Beijing Guoan when I was up there. Beijing at the Worker's Stadium was an experience mind.

He must be right next to home fans then with no segregation.
Missed this yesterday

Nah he’s in the away end the little nonce. Right next to the home fans.

Very good point made on Tory donor Jamie Reuben. George Caulkin reading it out is fighting Keith Downie for the title of biggest sell out!

You'd think he could have said most of what he said without having to stare down at a pre written speech on his phone.
I mean I don't like public speaking in fact I hate it but I thought he'd be better than just that.
I could be nit picking though.
Great point by Caulkin though you're right.

Wraith has this tattoo, which he looks at every day, and believes it defines his brave crusade to defend the Geordie Nation and smite down those who would attempt to destroy his brothers.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Ah taking a quote from a movie in the hope it makes you look profound. I call ot te Joey Barton syndrome
You've totally ignored the point to make yourself look perceptive.

I call it the Garth Crooks syndrome.
