It's been said already but the fuss surrounding Yorkshire Cricket Club compared to the lack of reaction to the monsters who have bought into NUFC is incredible. The scenario at Yorkshire CC is unpleasant and needs addressing if all the accusations levelled at them are correct, but it is tame compared to the journalist murdering, gay killing/stoning, Yemen children's school bombing, critic imprisoning horrors committed by the people that Newcastle fans, Council, many MP's and the horrendous local and most in the national media have outwardly supported.

Even people like David Walsh of The Sunday Times who went after cancer recovering world class cyclist but drug cheat Lance Armstrong, Russian dopers and criminal activity in boxing circles etc has said nothing at all.

Khashoggi must be turning in his grave at this widespread sycophancy.

You think they would let him anywhere near the press room? They would likely be keen to give him a private press conference, so they can deal with him once and for all.

In the 5 years in the premier League, despite the spending, there was no real signs of improvement in terms of results. 42, 46, 45, 45, 34 points. Average just 42.4 points... Surely a high performing manager would have broken the 50 point barrier. For context Pardew got 65 in his best season. Bruce was just above 44 in his recent 3 season stint.

This is a man who's never managed a big club, never faced the pressure and scrutiny that he is about to, away from his cosy south coast home.

Sure, there's positives about Eddie Howe. But you won't find the media balancing it out with any of the above facts.

Side note. Just came back from Deacon Blue concert at city hall. Was waiting for Saudi love in with crowd , or should I say dreading.

Didnt happen and Lead singer Ricky at end thanked Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland. Nice that.

He’s not said a single thing that can’t be proven. With regard to the minced journalist MBS accepted that it was carried out by Saudi arabia the only uncertainty is who ordered it. He is denying responsibility but most of the intelligence agencies and the UN agree the decision was his. Banning journalists would be so Saudi Arabian. On the other hand they may be doing him a favour.
