You think they would let him anywhere near the press room? They would likely be keen to give him a private press conference, so they can deal with him once and for all.Olly Holt really needs to be at Howe's first press conference and ask the questions that all the other gutless, pathetic, arse licking media whores are failing to ask.
It's been said already but the fuss surrounding Yorkshire Cricket Club compared to the lack of reaction to the monsters who have bought into NUFC is incredible. The scenario at Yorkshire CC is unpleasant and needs addressing if all the accusations levelled at them are correct, but it is tame compared to the journalist murdering, gay killing/stoning, Yemen children's school bombing, critic imprisoning horrors committed by the people that Newcastle fans, Council, many MP's and the horrendous local and most in the national media have outwardly supported.
Even people like David Walsh of The Sunday Times who went after cancer recovering world class cyclist but drug cheat Lance Armstrong, Russian dopers and criminal activity in boxing circles etc has said nothing at all.
Khashoggi must be turning in his grave at this widespread sycophancy.
Just watch it all unfold from a distance mate. Can we please get a few things straight about Eddie Howe and all this media bull I'm reading today?!
Bournemouth were well backed by their owners and actually broke FFP when getting promoted. They were competitive with their spending in the premier League. The 'little old Bournemouth' narrative was wide of the mark when it came to their transfer activity.
67, 67, 61, 70, 65. What are those numbers? -
Goals conceded by Eddie's team. Average 66 goals per season conceded in his 5 years for the meticulous, obsessed, anylalytical Eddie Howe who works so hard on the training ground. (If you believe the media hype.)
For context. The last time Sunderland were relegated from the premier League, with the team of the uninterested David Moyes, we shipped 69 goals. The last time the mags were relegated, they shipped 65 goals.
In the 5 years in the premier League, despite the spending, there was no real signs of improvement in terms of results. 42, 46, 45, 45, 34 points. Average just 42.4 points... Surely a high performing manager would have broken the 50 point barrier. For context Pardew got 65 in his best season. Bruce was just above 44 in his recent 3 season stint.
This is a man who's never managed a big club, never faced the pressure and scrutiny that he is about to, away from his cosy south coast home.
Sure, there's positives about Eddie Howe. But you won't find the media balancing it out with any of the above facts.
