Talksport Breakfast a good laugh this morning

Warren Barton

"Eddie Howe spent nothing at Bournemouth" Tell Bournemouth owners that 😮

"Could look to someone like Sterling who's not playing much" When Keegan was there he told Barton to come and sign for a big club, but aye Warren you were at Wimbledon at the time Sterling is at Man City 😂

"52,000" mentioned at least 5 times does any other ex player of Spurs, Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool mention 70/60/50k crowds ?

Luke Edwards

"Howe is a better fit than Emery" aye a bloke who's last job was to take his team down is a great fit
Spot on. I've can't think of another club where the attendance is mentioned as much by players, pundits etc. The magical 52 thousand Geordies (no away fans), cathedral on the hill, famous number 9....ah gaan walk into a wall through your fabulous gates you pricks.

Fair play to the fella, but it's Sky and the BBC that disgust me.
They have a new ‘toy’ in Newcastle they need to play with it. The media want this to happen gives them so much to talk about and that’s all Sky and BBC football coverage is about these days …pundits and their opinions but not about owners of course ! That’s too difficult as opposed to a juicy VAR debate

The truth is if this appointment had happened under Ashley they would be up in arms and back to shop shouting ! It would have been hailed as an insult to their great club and their supporters.
Because it’s the Saudis it’s fine and dandy (although I suspect through gritted teeth)
They are truly desperate
There was one on Talksport last night saying he would have been many Newcastle fans' first choice from the start
