Came through Chelsea's academy, signed for Liverpool, but didn't get much of a look in, he did earn an England cap whilst there however. Moved to Bournemouth, seemed to click last season and he's scoring for fun this season.
 
They have spun this to say they are going to provide England with their next manager by him keeping them in the PL until a bigger name manager can be persuaded to sign.
Wonder if Howe knows this is their thought process about him ??

Not sure why they are buzzing. He spunked over £30 million on Solanke and Ibe and was a bottle job in a relegation battle. When they do go down he’ll escape criticism

Every manager ever has signed some awful players. He also signed Ramsdale for 800k and Wilson for 3m

Yes but you're not in at that end of the market are you? How would the hordes react to a £4m outlay on relatively unknown British 'keeper and striker this coming January?

The point the poster is making is that Eddie Howe historically hasn't performed well with money signings.

He’s doing very well in the championship, whether he can make the step up is a mystery.
