I really don't have a dog in this fight, but I seriously hope it goes t *ts up for Newcastle, I'm sick of the bloody buying of trophies,. the uneven playing fields
the selling of souls of once great football clubs, the dilution of competition.
Should be down tothe support,

UEFA’s ‘Integrity of the UEFA Club competitions: Independence of clubs’ rule was adopted in 1998 and became effective for the 2000/1 season. This states that no two clubs or more participating in a UEFA club competition may be directly or indirectly controlled by the same entity or managed by the same person.
I'm sure definitions of integrity can become hazy when large sums of blood money are swilling around.

More so if you see and hear the saudi loving kernts gan on. I'd be jealous as fuck if some multi billionaire yank or summit had bought them but our government pushing this through is disgusting. Always said it will come to roost with Boris, and it will.

I see they are linked with Marseile as well. Does our new owners family still have a % stake there? Would be ironic of the Mags new owners end up putting a significant chunk into our owners families back pockets.

Wouldn't be surprised to see PIF buy a few more clubs and create their own super league. That'd be even funnier seeing the mags expelled from the PL :)
I can see them doing this. Waiting until teams go bust or close to us and Hoover them up to make a European Premier League.
when Barca finally admit they can’t sustain themselves PIF will buy them and add them to the league etc.

Its not even that though mate
Football in this country was built on fair competition, Its why Sunderland, Wednesday , blackburn, Bolton etc are still footballing institutions, you had a chance, a fair chance to win a trophy, not year in year out etc, but the competition was even, it was fair.
Where are we now?
I honestly remember being at Night games at Hillsborough and the European results used to flash up on the electric scoreboard on the Kop
(actually the first electric scoreboard anywhere anywhere in the UK lol)
If an English team was winning in Europe..a cheer went up
Doesn't happen now..its totally the opposite
Wednesday are 0-2 down to sodding fleetwood and a cheer might go up cos City are 2-0 down at Bayern
Such as Man city, Chelsea and now Newcastle are as foreign to me as Dynamo Kiev

I'm pretty sure UEFA and FIFA aren't motivated by money. They just want to use football as their instrument to achieve their twin objectives of world peace and hot girls to wear tight shorts.
And who doesn’t want that
Right in all seriousness

how does the whole PIF being involved with 2 clubs that could meet in a competitive fixture work is it allowed ?

guessing the city group own another club in Europe?
Red Bull have done it for years

I’m sure if the murderers throw enough money UEFAs way complete separation will be established before you can say apartments in the Caribbean.
