If a member of his preferred staff is gay or a lass or just doesn’t care to take money from genocidal murderers, I can see how it might be a sticking point. You must be logged on to see media items

I agree with you, but equally will any decent manager want to come in when they know that not only were they behind emery (and others), they were even behind Eddie f***ing Howe. Either they desperately need a football person in and will then do well, or this takeover, hilariously, isn't anything like you'd expect given the wealth of the people involvedTorn here.
If they can’t get Howe over the line it would be hilarious. BUT maybe they’d fluke a better manager than him instead. Safer if he takes the job imo. Mind you - lose three or four more games the next month and it might be too late anyways
I suspect they realise they'll get peddled as soon as they are able to attract a high profile manager. The stigma of taking the ISIS blood money then out of work next summer is probably to much to stomachIf I had a cushy secure job and a sweet life in Bournemouth, I'm not sure I'd want to uproot my family to move to a load of grief and uncertain future in Newcastle. Not sure how much coaches get paid, but I'd be wanting a canny uplift for the chew on.
Not much different from the Cowleys
Suggests he not confident in his own ability. This relationship Howe has with his staff seems a bizarre like. None of them want a job and he can't work without one of them.
He’ll get shredded off the mags if he fails to live up to their expectations and he won’t get much time. And he will be regarded as an unscrupulous ignorant money hungry whore by anyone else with a moral compass or ounce of humanity. If I had a cushy secure job and a sweet life in Bournemouth, I'm not sure I'd want to uproot my family to move to a load of grief and uncertain future in Newcastle. He would be, get him until the end of the season or even until end of next season and sack him when he keeps them up then get someone a bit bigger.
Their delusion won’t let them accept Big Sam despite being the perfect man for the job.
Agreed, although I was thinking more of his backroom staff. Howe will be getting paid millions. The backroom staff on which everything seems to depend, less so.He’ll get shredded off the mags if he fails to live up to their expectations and he won’t get much time. If a club would take one brother but not the other do you think they’d split up?The Cowley's take jobs though. Howe just fades into obscurity cos one of his staff, he can't live without, doesn't fancy it.
What gets me is why did he not speak to his backroom mates before he engaged with Newcastle to ask how they’d feel about moving north, and if so on what terms? This relationship Howe has with his staff seems a bizarre like. None of them want a job and he can't work without one of them.
Maybe, just maybe, there’s one of them whose values and morality can’t be bought. There are people like that around.Agreed, although I was thinking more of his backroom staff. Howe will be getting paid millions. The backroom staff on which everything seems to depend, less so.
I'm not surprised some of them aren't keen.
If this latest twist is true I think the backroom staff is a cover.Thing is he is good for stabilising a decent club. But what I believe the Toon want is far greater than what he can deliver. Bournemouth. He took them from nowhere. But what else did he do with them? Premiership stability is pretty much the best he did.
