I agree with you, but equally will any decent manager want to come in when they know that not only were they behind emery (and others), they were even behind Eddie f***ing Howe. Either they desperately need a football person in and will then do well, or this takeover, hilariously, isn't anything like you'd expect given the wealth of the people involved

I suspect they realise they'll get peddled as soon as they are able to attract a high profile manager. The stigma of taking the ISIS blood money then out of work next summer is probably to much to stomach

He’ll get shredded off the mags if he fails to live up to their expectations and he won’t get much time. And he will be regarded as an unscrupulous ignorant money hungry whore by anyone else with a moral compass or ounce of humanity.

Just been reading this Eddie Howe stuff..they can't be serious..richest club in the world..underwhelming doesn't even cover it..maybe he'll unearth the new Dominic Solanke or Jordan Ibe for them.

Agreed, although I was thinking more of his backroom staff. Howe will be getting paid millions. The backroom staff on which everything seems to depend, less so.

I'm not surprised some of them aren't keen.
 
Thing is he is good for stabilising a decent club. But what I believe the Toon want is far greater than what he can deliver. Bournemouth. He took them from nowhere. But what else did he do with them? Premiership stability is pretty much the best he did.

If this latest twist is true I think the backroom staff is a cover.

He either thinks they don’t have the quality to stay up and another relegation will finish him as a top level manager or on reflection, he doesn’t want to associate himself with the homophobic, sexist and murderous regime.
