Racism at Yorkshire CCC

This explains Vaughan’s silence

"The BBC pundit explained that he had been accused of saying to Rafiq, Adil Rashid, Ajmal Shahzad and Rana Naveed before a 2009 game against Nottinghamshire: “[There are] too many of you lot, we need to do something"

So there will be three other witnesses, hes absolutely fucked

He'll claim he was referring to bowlers and it's been misconstrued

Resigns before the inquiry while saying its not really his fault, bellend.
To be fair even though he is chairman if the Executive board say no to something there is little he can do about it. I have no insight to if this happened but Im sure we will hear more about it

Aye let's see that stand up in a court of law after all his other various articles and tweets... Also I guarantee he'll of said/ done something else to. Man is a shithouse who thinks he's invincible, now one accusation is in the open I bet there's many more skeletons in his closet.

easiest thing in the world to say " I've been told" or "I have it on good authority"

means nowt and could just as easily have been made up.

"I've been told by many that I've shared a drink with in bars after matches that Balance is an odious racist and he would have meant every word of his bantz"

All made up of course ...
You think I'd waste my time making up stuff to tell a bunch of faceless people on a forum .??
Why would I , makes no difference to me what you think , just thought a bit of context might be of interest, take it or leave it .
The people that tell me have direct personal experience of Rafiq and I know them very very well, they're not racist.
But in essence it is all alleged, wouldn't be the first time the SMB has included allegation 😄

People do.
Regarding context it could easily be made up bullshit, so I'll leave it thanks.
What's alleged ? are you saying there's been no racism at YCC and everything is unfounded allegations ?

I'm saying that the Rafiq situation involves a person I have been invited to be sceptical of. That's all .
There's racism everywhere in cricket by the way , from bantz to full intent. Durham is stowed off with local Asian crickets isn't it

He's either a friend using banter , a bloke stupidly using all guns on a full on twat, or an actual racist .
Looks like Yorkshire don't believe the latter and all I'm saying is that many club cricketers in Yorkshire wouldn't be surprised at the middle one.
Sorry if that disturbed the free flowing anti Yorkshire narrative it's just something I thought people should know. There there are obvious cultural clashes in Yorkshire and probably throughout English cricket with bringing Asian youth through. The causes of that go beyond blatant racism , the discussion on what would constitute cultural bias is a longer more nuanced one .

And this
As if Rafiq is not very nice or a fantastic person has any relevance whatsoever 😮

So are you saying because Rafiq isn't a nice person we need to discredit everything he's saying? Because I have to say again that almost everything in the public sphere at the moment is either:

A. Been confirmed as having happened by Yorkshire itself, or B. been confirmed as having happened by other witnesses.

But the being called a P**** aren't allegations that are being disputed, they've been admitted and finally condemned for what they are. Nothing to do with scepticism, they're true.
Guessing you're more than willing to lap up this scepticism mind.

Quell surprise....

As an aside, I bet there's a fair few cricketers/ board members at other counties absolutely shitting themselves now.
Aye like I said the other day this is just the start. It's absolutely nailed on more will resign/be named today/sponsors withdraw. Clearly there is more than Ballance to be named and I'd expect those names to be revealed before the parliament committee hearing. It's absolutely staggering how badly Yorkshire have dealt with this. Mind you I've read Hutton's statement and I've said all along the ECB are spineless and whilst his statement is poor/not accepting his fair share of blame in my opinion, he is critical of the ECB not acting and I can well believe that. So much to deal with here it's unreal
