Just saying it depends how far they take this enquiry. The lack of British Asian influence in county cricket is surprising. Not just on the actual playing side but also the commercial side.

Gary Ballance has always been a failed international cricketer. Should be put in prison now and never allowed to play cricket again.

Yorkshire always been a horrible club. Hopefully justice is served.

Yes, but do feel that whilst it's a pretty poor look from Durham, you've probably got to hold some countries to slightly higher expectations given their catchment areas. That includes Yorkshire, but also Warwickshire, Middlesex, Lancashire etc.

Or look at the overall situation between the professional domestic set up and the Asian population of this country. Iam sure there could be better relationships which would benefit everyone.
 
it almost feels like Ballance has been lined up as a scapegoat by YCCC - given their past behaviour in all of this it wouldnt surprise me one bit - offer Ballance as the sacrifice to make themselves look better.

He’s had mental health issues previously. Obviously this story doesn’t look good but I do think they need to act carefully with him

If you had any sort of idea on the matter you’d know that Rafiq turned down a lot of money from Yorkshire to buy his silence a while ago. This isn’t about money for him.

Yorkshire have really shot themselves in the foot here, its now quite amusing that they thought no one would react, there will be a massive financial crisis at this rate too all because they couldn't admit and punish those who had done wrong.

The Gary Balance statement was bizzare you would think they were still best mates the may he put it out, another one looking for sympathy.
 
I kind of know one of the prominent cricket journos. He's said they're all getting a "update - which i gather is something major" from the ECB in the next 20 mins. He'll update me when he finds out (I assume it'll be on twitter though before I can even post it on here!)

Ballance says he had him at his family home in Zimbabwe.

Who invites anyone they don't like at work or in private life to their home. Let alone a home several thousand miles away.
