Car park near the ground, £5, no probs, back in the house at 12.10. Better drive back than down which was torture near Leeds/M62 and down into Sheffield on the A61. Shite of a night.

Back at 23.25 in Sunderland and paid nowt to park (pissed off with about 10 minutes to go mind and didn't spare the horse power).

Only decent thing about the trip

Good call this parked s little up the bank but out and straight onto the A61 to get home

We parked on Fox Hall Rd but after the traffic on the M1 it was 7 by the time we got there so we ended up a long way up there..

It's a long time since I lived in S11 and the daily exercise of walking up steep banks. It was like Climb Every Mountain going back to the car. Even my mate who lives in Swaledale thought it was a steep climb. @Parsoncross

Enjoyed the Bradfield ale in The Railway

We had one in The Pheasant I think- home supporters only but I had a blue and white t-shirt on which sort of implied we were Wednesday so didn’t have a problem

I called in the Pheasant after the game as the landlady let's you have a drink after the last bus has been and gone.

Had a regular order with Bradfield Brewery during lockdown.

Within 10 mins walk of the ground you'll see hundreds parked up just on the side of the road, just pull up. That's what we done last time.

I’d get the tram in from Meadowhall at J34. Not the fastest thing in the world but sure beats chugging your way back up Penistone Road (and that’s assuming you’re not stuck in traffic/car parks after the game).

There used to be a car park about 10 minutes walk from the ground and it was a fiver.
That was back in 2013 though.
It's probably about 30 quid now !
