Marlcliffe Road ... Marlborough Road is Crookes way.
They are in Hillsborough. There are a lot of streets off Middlewood road that are terraced houses, a bit like parking around old Roker Park. Just keep working up as far as Far Lane and Ben Lane, then walk back down.
Park at mine and I will give you a lift down the hill... ;-)

If you park 15 mins from away end, are there any pubs in that area for away fans?
Not really matey.

The only one near the away end is the Park hotel pub ( think that's what it's called) and I don't think away fans would be welcome.

I could be wrong as it's been a while since I drank in there.

Where would you recommend for away fans then? Arriving around 18:00/18:30.

All depends where you park mate...There are a few pubs on Pennistone road.

If you parked at the Owlerton Greyhound stadium, then a pub called the Old crown is ok, just a couple of minutes walk towards Hillsborough.

As long as your not in a big group and gobby you will be fine in most pubs.

Parked it on the pavement on the main road that runs parallel with the old stand on the advice of a steward who said they allow it on match day around the stadium - bit dubious but no problem and 100 yard walk back to the car! Best part of the night to be fair..

I parked in one of the streets just off Fox Hill Road - about 15 mins walk from the away end. Incident-free run back home arriving around half 11 (aye, I left about 10 mins early).

You are right mate...we weren't welcome in there. The Riverside behind leppings lane end was welcoming... Sadly it all went down hill after that.
