Double standards here. Don’t remember any posts edited, or complaints made about Ryders bong eye.
Also many references in this thread to Staveley being “bong eye’ - again, no editing.

Not saying any of it is right, but if you are going to censor, make it equal, after all we’re not in KSA.

Careful X2

I can’t see the Belgians standing in his way. Pay off or no pay off. Plus I thought he was hanging on for the Barca job possibility. His social conscience situation remains to be seen.
Martinez is probably a good choice. Never going to be the big name the mags crave as being the worlds richest club with them in such a sorry state right now, but he's good enough to attract the next level players and get them organised to put them safe this season ready for next Summer's expected big transfer push.

Let's enjoy the last few weeks of the mags really looking shite because this could be the last time for years.

Tbh I don't think the top clubs would consider Martinez. He's probably under performed with that Belgian squad. I know you only have the players for a limited time in international football, but a better manager could probably have done more. WC semi final in 2018, and top of fifa rankings for a few years. It's not a bad performance but I feel they are probably capable of more. Lost to Italy in the euros, which is forgivable. I dunno I just feel with the players Belgium have they could do more. Probably done as well as could be expected when you look into it but I can't say I'm an avid Belgium watcher

Probably will be Martinez. Graeme Jones has worked with him at Swansea, Wigan, Everton and Belgium. Jones said in press conference before the Palace game that he'd been given assurances on his future after his initial two game stint as caretaker, so I think there's a chance of them being reunited.
Fingers crossed

You forget that we are still Newcastle. Nothing is ever an easy ride. This will all implode somehow. Starting with relegation this year i'd imagine

I was highlighting a particular part of his thread, didn’t realise I had to copy the whole thread for a sad mag.
The point of your post was that we struggled to get any managers interested by bypassing the first tweet which clearly named we are in talks with plenty.

It was an odd take. Do you work for the Tory press office?

In talks means fk all sweet cheeks. We were in talks to sign Peter Crouch almost as many times as your owner chopped up journalists but in the end he didn’t want to sign.
